A walk between the highest peaks of the island (Pico do Areeiro – Pico Ruivo), situated in the eastern mountainous massif. This area is included in Madeira’s Natural Park and it’s part of the Natura 2000 Network. Along the way, we can admire breathtaking scenery and explore the biodiversity characteristic of the mountain habitat. The presence of flora and fauna exclusive to this habitat, gives these mountains a high scientific value.
