This tour starts at your hotel in Funchal and you will drive with your local guide to Machico village, where Zarco and Teixeira disembarked in 1419. Drive through forgotten and old roads to Portela, the overlooking Eagle Rock (Penha D'Aguia) or the “human face”. Porto da Cruz well visit a "rum factory", Santana (traditional tatched houses), Ribeiro Frio and then Pico Areeiro, 3rd highest peak of Madeira.
